I’m Caroline (but everybody calls me Caro).
I’m a French tutor in Paris, based in the 18th arrondissement near Montmartre, and I’ve been helping adults from all over the world speak French with confidence since 2015.
I’m a native French speaker from Brittany (a small seaside town), and I’ve been living in Paris for over 10 years. Since then, I’ve helped students fall in love with the French language.
No textbook French ! just real French for real life.
I personally teach in the 18th arrondissement (Montmartre area), where I offer in-person lessons in a relaxed and authentic Parisian setting.
If you’re based in other parts of Paris, I also work with Lisa & Lola (French tutors in Paris as well) who can meet you in different neighborhoods such as Le Marais, Saint-Germain-des-Prés, or anywhere else in the city.
I also offer online French lessons for students based outside Paris.
All lessons are tailored to your needs, your goals, and your daily life.
My teaching style is relaxed and friendly, with a strong focus on real-life French, the kind you hear in Parisian cafés rather than in grammar books.
Of course, we work on grammar, but also on expressions, slang, cultural references, and all the little details that help you sound more natural and confident.

Yes! I offer online French lessons via Google Meet, available to students worldwide at all levels, from complete beginners (A1) to advanced speakers (C1/C2). Online lessons are fully personalized, flexible, and just as effective as in-person sessions. Whether you're in Paris, London, New York, or Tokyo, we can start learning together right away.
2. How can I effectively improve my French with each lesson?
Each lesson is 100% personalized to your level, goals, and learning style. I cover all four skills, speaking, listening, reading, and writing ; with a strong focus on real-life conversation and confidence.
I also track your progress and adjust the content at every session so you improve faster than with traditional methods.
3. Where do the in-person lessons take place?
In-person French lessons take place across Paris, in any arrondissement — whether you're based in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th, or 20th arrondissement. I typically meet students in a café, a quiet public space, or during a Walk & Talk tour through Parisian neighborhoods.
I'm based near Montmartre (Paris 18ème) and travel across the city to meet you where it's most convenient.
4. What's your teaching style?
My teaching style is warm, interactive, and fully adapted to you. I focus on real-life French — the kind you hear in Parisian cafés, markets, and everyday conversations — rather than dry grammar rules. Every lesson includes speaking practice, pronunciation work, and cultural insights to help you sound natural and confident as quickly as possible.
5. Can you help me prepare for a French exam?
Absolutely! I offer specialized preparation for the DELF, DALF, TCF, and TEF exams at all levels (A1 to C2). My exam prep includes speaking practice, grammar review, writing exercises, and full mock tests. Many of my students have successfully passed their exams after just a few months of preparation with me.

Yes! I offer private one-to-one French lessons as well as small group sessions of 2 to 3 people, perfect for friends, couples, or colleagues who want to learn together. Group lessons are available both in person in Paris and online, and are always kept small to ensure everyone gets personal attention and real speaking time.

Yes! I offer a 1-hour trial lesson so you can experience my teaching style firsthand, discuss your goals, and get a personalized learning plan. It's a real, paid session (not just a chat) with conversation practice, exercises, and clear next steps so you leave already feeling more confident in French
