Private French Lessons
in Paris & Online with a Native Tutor
I'm Caroline, a native French tutor based in Montmartre (Paris 18th). Since 2016, I've given private one-to-one French lessons to adults in Paris cafés and online, from complete beginners (A1) to advanced speakers (C2). Every lesson is built around your goals: speaking with confidence, living in Paris, working in French or passing the DELF, DALF, TCF or TEF.
Who Are These One-on-One French Lessons For?
-
Expats who live in Paris and want to handle daily life in French
-
Travelers and digital nomads preparing a stay in France
-
Professionals who need French for work or meetings
-
Students preparing the DELF, DALF, TCF or TEF (including for French nationality)
-
Complete beginners, as well as intermediate and advanced learners who feel stuck
What We Work On?
Lessons focus on speaking, because that's what most learners are missing. We also cover grammar, but always in context.
-
Conversation and pronunciation
-
Grammar and verb conjugation, explained simply
-
Real-life French: the expressions and slang you hear in Paris cafés
-
Listening comprehension
-
Business French for professionals
-
Exam preparation with full mock tests
How a Private Lesson Works
-
Trial lesson (1 hour paid)
We talk about your goals, I assess your level, and you leave with a personalized learning plan.
-
Lessons built around you.
Each session starts from what you need that week: a meeting, a trip, an exam, a conversation you struggled with.
-
Feedback on your real mistakes.
I note the mistakes you make while speaking and turn them into targeted exercises.
-
Progress you can track.
I adjust the content at every session so you keep moving forward.
Private French Lessons for every Level (A1 to C2)
Where Do We Meet? In Paris or Online
I teach in person in Paris cafés, mostly around Montmartre in the 18th arrondissement.
We choose the spot together. If you live elsewhere in Paris, my colleagues Lisa and Lola meet students in Le Marais, Saint-Germain-des-Prés and other neighborhoods.
Online lessons take place on Google Meet, with the same materials and the same personal approach.
Students join from London, New York, LA, Tokyo and everywhere in between.
How Much Do Private French Lessons in Paris Cost?
Private lessons start at €80 per hour, in person or online.
Packages are available: see all prices on my pricing page.
