Coucou tout le monde, I am a french tutor in Paris and here I am going to explain why "To book a French lesson with me to learn with confidence, clarity, and real results "

I often hear people ask me this question. I am curious, about the lessons. Can you tell me how the French lessons work?

I will take a moment to explain the method I use. The method I use will tell you what to expect when you start learning French with me. The method is simple.

Step 1: Getting to Know You (and Your Level)

Before anything I always start by evaluating your level. I evaluate your level with the discussion, a few questions or the simple exercises.

Why? Because no two students are the same.

I have seen the three kinds of learners. Some people are the beginners. The other people understand a lot. Do not dare to speak. Some people already speak well. Want the confidence or the natural feel.

I learn your level, your goals and your personality. I create the program for you.

Step 2: Verbs, Verbs… and More Verbs

No matter what your level is we always work on verbs. I have found that the verbs are the backbone of the language. When you understand the verbs the whole learning process becomes much easier for you.

At the beginning. Throughout the lessons we focus on:

the present

the past

the future

I make sure you really understand how the things work. I make sure you know how to use the things in life not just in theory.

Step 3: Building Real Sentences

I notice that when the basics are clear the basics help build sentences together.

I learn how to:

make negative sentences ( ne pas, ne plus, ne jamais etc)

ask questions naturally to anyone (formal or not)

structure clear and correct sentences (using slang or not)

Everything moves forward.

I watch how you go.

I change the pace so you do not feel overwhelmed.

I change the pace so you feel challenged enough to improve.

Step 4: Grammar …. Make the grammar useful

Grammar matters. I do not think learning rules for the sake of rules is useful.

So we introduce grammar when grammar becomes useful such as:

comparisons

how to express opinions

passive voice

more complex sentence structures

I always use the examples the context, the practice. The examples, the context the practice make it make sense.

Step 5: Speaking, Speaking, Speaking

When you start feeling more comfortable the group focuses on the conversation.

Your level matters.

my list include:

everyday conversations (obviously ! )

role plays

debates (about any topics)

expressing opinions and ideas

My goal is to help you speak with confidence. I will help you speak with confidence even if you make mistakes. Mistakes are totally normal. I will work with you to keep the confidence high and to see mistakes as normal.

Individual, Duo or Group Lessons

I adapt the method depending on the format:

one-to-one lessons

duo lessons

group classes

The content, the activities and the rhythm change when you learn alone or with others. The goal does not change: the goal is to help you speak French comfortably and naturally.

When students reach around B1–B2 level, I also offer Walk & Talk lessons.

That means:

we walk around Paris

we talk, observe, comment, discuss

French becomes part of real life, not just a classroom exercise

It’s a great way to gain confidence, improve fluency, and enjoy the city at the same time.

In Short…

Walk & Talk Lessons in Paris 🇫🇷

When students reach about the B1–B2 level I also start Walk & Talk french lessons.

Walk & Talk lessons let students practice speaking while students walk with a french tutor (myself)

That means:

We walk around Paris. with a french tutor.

The walk around Paris lets the walkers feel the wind

The walk around Paris shows the streets.

The walk around Paris shows the cafés.

The walk around Paris shows the lights.

The walk, around Paris is a way to see the streets the cafés, the lights and the people.

We talk. We observe, we comment we discuss.

French becomes part of the life. French is not a classroom exercise; French is now something you use every day.

The way helps you gain confidence. The way helps you improve fluency. The way helps you enjoy the city, at once.

In Short…

My method is:

personalised

progressive

conversation-oriented

adapted to you

I work with beginners and advanced learners. I use lessons when the learner prefers structured lessons.

I use conversations when the learner prefers natural conversations. I adjust everything so the learner feels supported and motivated.

If you’re curious, the best way to understand my method… is simply to try a lesson

Book a French lesson with a French tutor in Paris and finally see real progress.
